👋 Meet the Founder: Ricky Reidling

Ricky Reidling is a Palm Springs-based writer, director, producer, and creative visionary with over 20 years of experience in film, television, and digital media.

As the founder of Open Palm Creative, Ricky blends cinematic storytelling with modern content creation — producing visually compelling work designed to connect, inspire, and stand out.

His career includes creating the LGBTQ+ cable series BoysTown, which aired for two seasons on OUTtv, as well as developing the award-winning series Some Kind of Wonderful, whose original pilot screened at more than 35 film festivals worldwide.

Today, Ricky is expanding Open Palm Creative into a modern creative studio specializing in cinematic branding, AI-enhanced visuals, social media content, commercials, music, and original entertainment projects.

Inspired by the vibrant energy of Palm Springs, his work combines bold visuals, authentic storytelling, and elevated creative direction to help brands and stories leave a lasting impact.
